MIBTi offers a wide range of courses identical to those at MIBT Australia, but they are run here in Jakarta. One of the biggest advantages of studying at MIBTi is that I am now very well-prepared to face university in Australia. The lecturers at MIBTi are very helpful and supportive, and they really encouraged me to understand their subjects and do well on all my assignments, so I now feel ready to make the move to Australia.

In addition to great academic support from lecturers, even on a one-on-one basis, MIBTi also provides very good support and guidance about further studies in Australia. There is a regular information session from Deakin University staff to help us transfer to Deakin.

In addition, MIBTi also has many off-campus activities (events, outings etc) every trimester. These activities include not only students but also lecturers and other staff. This helps to produce a unique team feeling about MIBTi, with everyone on the same side.

Although already working in the TV industry, Yasmine admitted that when she joined MIBTi she actually had only a narrow understanding of her industry and Media and Communications in general.
